Task 2.4 Why we use thesaurus?

Hi there!

Have you ever written a text in English in a particular topic in which you must use the same word every time? Perhaps you have the same sensation like me and you would like to enrich your text with a wide variety of words.

For this purpose, you can use thesaurus. This resource will allow you to find synonyms and antonyms with are so important to have a big vocabulary range. In my case following the story of the blog I have searched the word “Energy” as I use it frequently.

The results I have obtained are a wide range of synonyms and antonyms. Nevertheless you must choose the field if you want to obtain a more precise result, which in my case is satisfactory. In addition, you can have access to different examples that will help you to find the appropriate word.

Nowadays, technology is part of a big variety of aspects in our daily life, and children are more get used to it than children of the past. Hello! Sometimes in English we must learn lists of expressions and collocations that we forget because we don’t use them. Nevertheless, something appear one that catch your attention and you are desiring to use as much as you can. In my case this has happened with “ patently obvious “ , so let’s se some examples in which could be used. For that purpose I bring you today two resources.
